I like your website Jennifer. It is quite attractive. In order to get more people to your site though, you have to really promote it. I have a few suggestions that will certainly help as these also helped my own websites.
1. Open an account at hubpages and write an informative article with
pictures that talk about your subject. Make it as useful as possible. Make sure you label the pictures with your keywords.
2. You could also open an account at squidoo in case you don’t have
one, and create a short lens about your subject, making sure you send back links to your website. Search engines love squidoo. Use the same principles as per hubpages, with many pictures.
3. Write some articles about your subject and publish them at ezinearticles.com. You will get the best exposure there, and like all the others, it is free. The more articles you write, the better of you are. You can also get someone to write articles for you as well.
4. Although your website is attractive, you have to find a way to talk
to your visitors, otherwise they may never visit you more than once. The best way to do that is to create a form to capture emails on your
website, and give your visitors a good incentive (discounts, information, reports, ebooks, etc) in exchange for their email addresses. This is MOST important because most people will not buy the first time, unless you are targeting the right keywords like “buy bean bag chairs”.
5. Finally, you can get paid links to your website, hundreds of them, by joining a linking service that will exchange links for you, automating the process as you go. I use one of those, and it is very helpful.
